Herndon, VA – January 01, 2011 – Federal Data Systems (FEDDATA), a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), is pleased to announce the appointment of Barry Kane to the company’s board of directors.
Barry Kane has over 40 years’ experience working with the federal government, including 20 years as a Coast Guard officer. Kane is the president of Catapult Technology, a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned (SDVO) information technology and management consulting firm. Prior to joining Catapult, Kane served as senior vice president at CACI and executive vice-president and chief operations officer of AlphaInsight. Before joining AlphaInsight, Kane was an EVP at SIGNAL Corporation where he helped the company grow from an small 8(a) company to a mid-tier industry leader. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the Coast Guard Academy and a Masters in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a licensed professional engineer.
